Introduction of Entrepreneurship Research Center on G20 Economies:

Commissioned by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China, and co-led by Tsinghua University, the Entrepreneurship Research Center on G20 Economieswas founded for the purpose of 1) fulfilling the consensus reached at the 2016 Hangzhou Summit of the G20 Economies, which is summarized in the summit communiqué and the declaration of the G20 conference of labor ministers, 2) giving full play to China's leadership in implementing the G20 Entrepreneurship Action Plan and 3) responding to President Xi Jinping’s requirement of "making follow-up work, implementing the outcome of the conference and enlarging the conference effect". The center will provide an effective platform for thought, information and technological support for the G20 Entrepreneurship Action Plan.

The research center will gradually establish itself as an entrepreneurial research hub with academic, policy and practical impacts in the world.  The main research objectives include tracking and analyzing the progress of implementing the G20 Entrepreneurship Action Plan in the G20 economies, summarizing and sharing the entrepreneurial practices in each country, and conducting comparative studies in entrepreneurship based on the G20 economies. We provide members with innovative and entrepreneurial support, both in wisdom and in technology, from multiple dimensions such as political, economic, social, scientific, educational and financial ones.
