Associate Professor, the Department of Economics, School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. She received her B.S. in Geology and B.A. in Economics from Peking University in 1998, M.S. in Environmental Sciences from Peking University in 2001, Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard University in 2007. Courses Taught: Environmental and Resource Economics (Undergraduate), Environmental and Energy Economics (Graduate).

Her research interests include Environmental and Energy Economics, such as China’s environmental tax reform, economic instrument for mitigating climate change, computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling, and green productivity. Her research projects include Chinese National Science Function Project, Social Science Funding from Department of Education, IDRC-EEPSEA project, Environmental for Development (EFD) project, Tsinghua Self-Research Project, Tsinghua-K.U. Leuven research collaboration project and Tsinghua Low-carbon economic institute project. Her papers were published on Management Science, Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (JAERE), Energy Economics, Energy Journal, Review of Environmental Economics and Policy, and Chinese journals such as Economic Research, Financial Research and etc. She is currently an Associate editor for Environmental and Development Economics. She also receives McKinsey China Economics Award in 2011, Gregory Chow Best Paper Award in 2005 and East Asian Economic Association Best Paper Award in 2004.
