Dr. Wu received her M.S. in Statistics (2005) and Ph.D. in Psychology (2007) from the Univesity of Chicago. Dr. Wu joined Tsinghua SEM in July, 2009. At Tsinghua, she teaches the iMBA level marketing management course.

Professor Wu’s research focuses on cross-cultural judgment and decision processes, and her work has been featured in Science, one of the world's leading journals of original scientific research.  She is the Principal Investigator of two National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) funded projects:1. Cross Cultural Cognitive Psychology Informs Differences in Consumer Behavior: Focalism and Price in Consumer Decision Making; 2. Consumer Deicsion Power: Comparing China and Korea.

Prior to joining Tsinghua, Dr. Wu taught at the University of Chicago (2007-2008) and at Washington University in Saint Louis, Olin Business School (2008-2009). She also worked as a statistician at the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) in Chicago.

More recently, Dr. Wu has been twice invited as global MBA Visiting Professor at the Business School of Yonsei University in Korea, and research fellow at Judge Business School of Cambridge University in UK.
