Xiaohan Zhong is associate professor (with tenure) and chair of Department of Economics, School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. He received his Bachelor in Management Information System, School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, Ph.D. in Economics, School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University.


He teaches three courses: Principles of Economics, Game Theory, and Political Economy. He has received several rewards on teaching.


His research interests include Labor Economics, Political Economy, Applied Microeconomics and Microeconomic Theory, and China Economy. Research papers have been published in Games and Economic Hehavior, Experimental Economics, Social Sciences in China, China Economic Quarterly, China Journal of Economics, and so on. He has written two books, Heritage Protection and Tourism Development, China Farmers' Story.


Professor Zhong serves as Researcher of National Center for Economic Research at Tsinghua University (NCER), Fellow of Center for China in the World Economy at Tsinghua University (CCWE). He also is the Reader of several core journals.

He was an Excellent Undergraduate of Tsinghua University in 1994, and won University Excellent Faculty Award in 2015.
