Full-Time Faculty

As of November 2009, Tsinghua SEM has 135 full-time faculty members, including 45 professors, 53 associate professors, and 37 assistant professors. 119 faculty members have Ph.D.s from top Chinese or international universities. Four hold Cheung Kong Scholar Professorships, and five are recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

Special-Term Professors

Since 2002, Tsinghua SEM has recruited special-term professors from the world’s top universities and research institutions. In addition to offering world-class courses for students, these professors play an active role in mentoring young faculty members and furthering their academic disciplines.

Faculty Development

Tsinghua SEM runs faculty exchange programs with MIT Sloan School of Management, Harvard Business School, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford Graduate School of Business and HEC Paris. Tsinghua SEM faculty members are sent to these prestigious business schools for training.

Curriculum Development

Tsinghua SEM sends its faculty members to top international business schools for curriculum development, enabling many of its courses to reach international standards within a short period of time. Additionally, the School’s academic exchange network keeps faculty up-to-date with the latest advances in their fields worldwide.
