Memberships in International Organizations

AACSB

In 2002, Tsinghua SEM obtained membership of The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

In 2007, Tsinghua SEM achieved AACSB accreditation, becoming the only School on the Chinese mainland with AACSB accreditation.

In 2008, Dean QIAN Yingyi joined the board of directors of AACSB.

In 2012, Tsinghua SEM maintained its AACSB accreditation in business and accounting.

 

AAPBS

In 2004, Tsinghua SEM participated in initiating the Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS).

In 2005, Tsinghua SEM hosted the first annual conference of AAPBS.

In 2008, Dean QIAN Yingyi served as President of AAPBS.

 

CEMS

In 2006, Tsinghua SEM became an Associate Academic Member of the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS).

In 2011, Tsinghua SEM became the only business school in mainland China with full CEMS membership.
 

EFMD

In 2006, Tsinghua SEM obtained the membership of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

In 2008, Tsinghua SEM was awarded EQUIS accreditation by EFMD.

In 2011, Tsinghua SEM obtained EQUIS re-accreditation.

 

 

GMAC

In 2008, Tsinghua SEM obtained the membership of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).

 

PIM

In 2005, Tsinghua SEM became the formal member of the Partnership in International Management (PIM).

In 2010, Associate Dean CHEN Guoqing serves as PIM Asia & Asia Pacific Chair.

 

Collaborations with Other Business Schools

HBS

In 2001, Tsinghua SEM partnered with Harvard Business School (HBS) in launching the Advanced Management Training Program.

 

HEC Paris

In 1998 Tsinghua SEM partnered with HEC Paris in faculty exchange program, advanced training program and MBA dual-degree program.

 

INSEAD

In 2006, Tsinghua SEM partnered with INSEAD in launching Tsinghua-INSEAD dual-degree program.

 

MIT Sloan

In 1996, Tsinghua SEM partnered with MIT Sloan Management School in launching an international MBA program.

 

Stanford GSB

In 2005, Tsinghua SEM partnered with Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) in launching Stanford Tsinghua Exchange Program (STEP).

 

The Wharton School

In 1997, Tsinghua SEM partnered with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in faculty exchange program.

In 2010, Tsinghua SEM partners with the Wharton School in undergraduate student exchange program.

 

Extensive Student Exchange Networks

Students at Tsinghua SEM have opportunities to expand their international horizons through extensive student exchange network that SEM has established with overseas institutions. The exchange studies are tuition free with mutual-recognition on credits.
