Leading Korean institutions announced the formation of the Industry-Academia Research Alliance on Climate Risk Management, serving as a global platform for international collaboration and exchange in climate risk management.

A Tsinghua SEM student delegation visited Japan and explored the development of advanced productive forces and their potential implications for China's economic growth. 

The Top Award of the 2024 Graham & Dodd Awards of Excellence went to Fundamental Analysis via Machine Learning written by You Haifeng, CFA and chair professor of accounting at Tsinghua SEM and independent researcher Cao Kai.

The attendees reviewed and approved the 2024 financial and work reports for the fund, along with the Minoru Kobayashi China Economic Research Scholarships for 2024. The 2024 Minoru Kobayashi China Economic Research Paper Award was presented.

The course emphasized the growing importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors in tackling pressing global challenges.

International students at Tsinghua SEM discussed a wide range of topics, including curriculum design, internships, career development, international exchange programs, and student life, with faculty and staff.

Fourteen innovative teams from 16 hacks competed on the 6th SDG Open Hack@Tsinghua University. This year's event highlighted entrepreneurship-driven innovation with a special focus on corporate needs.
