Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio spoke at Tsinghua SEM, sharing insights on investment principles and big cycles with faculty, students and guests. 

A seminar focusing on the internationalization paths of Chinese enterprises amid the changing global environment, the high-level opening-up strategy, and the construction of an international rule of law system was held at Tsinghua University on April 13, 2026.

Tsinghua SEM held a series of future technology-themed events as part of its "Beyond Now" open day, attracting innovative minds from China and abroad. The St. Gallen-Tsinghua SEM Global Enterprise Excellence Programme was launched. 

The conference organized by the Research Center for Technological Innovation of Tsinghua University is a key research base for humanities and social sciences under the Ministry of Education.

The symposium featured ten parallel sessions on political economy, institutions and development, macroeconomics, econometrics, public finance, finance and development, international trade, labor and development, the digital economy, and global imbalances and China's financial strategy, with more than 100 experts and scholars engaged in discussions.

On March 25, Tsinghua University hosted the 5th Latin American and Caribbean Ambassadors' Dialogue, centering on the theme of China's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) and its economic transition.

Shahbaz Khan, Director of the UNESCO Regional Office for East Asia delivered a lecture titled "Global Frameworks, Local Action: Shaping Our Shared Future" at Tsinghua SEM.
