A London Business School delegation, led by Professors Lucrezia Reichlin and S. Alex Yang, visited Tsinghua University on March 23, 2026. The exchanges not only strengthened understanding and friendship, but also helped build a bridge for long-term communication.

Eighty undergraduate exchange students from 24 countries or regions have joined Tsinghua SEM this semester.

Elsevier's 2025 list of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers, released on January 30, 2026, features 10 professors from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University.

Chen Jian from the School of Economics and Management and Li Daokui from the School of Social Sciences were selected as the fourth cohort of Tsinghua University's Distinguished Professors of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

A team led by Professor Xu Xin and Associate Professor Yi Cheng from the Department of Management Science and Engineering was awarded the 2025 AIS Impact Award. Associate Professor Lin Zhijie received the AIS Mid-Career Award, while Lin and Yi were also honored with the MIS Quarterly Outstanding Associate Editor Award by the editorial board of MIS Quarterly.

Ajay Banga, president of the World Bank Group, led a delegation to Tsinghua University on December 8, 2025, held talks with Bai Benfeng, deputy Party secretary and Tsinghua University's vice president, engaged in a dialogue with Bai Chong-En, dean of Tsinghua SEM, and took part in an interactive session with students.

Nobel-Prize winning economist Philippe Aghion, from Académie Française, delivered a lecture titled "Creative Destruction: The Power of Innovation" at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management.
