School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University Successfully Holds 2025 Spring Semester Welcome Event for MBA Exchange Students
On the morning of February 14th, the School of Economics and Management (SEM) at Tsinghua University held a grand welcome event for incoming graduate-level exchange students for the 2025 spring semester. The event brought together exchange students from over 20 top business schools around the world, along with their Tsinghua buddies, marking an exciting start to the new academic term.

The event began with a warm welcome from the SEM community, which introduced the structure and highlights of the school’s exchange programs. Representatives provided detailed insights into program features, administrative guidelines, campus resources, and the wide variety of sports clubs and cultural activities offered at Tsinghua. Exchange students were encouraged to actively participate in campus life and immerse themselves in Tsinghua’s vibrant learning environment and cultural atmosphere.
To help international students better integrate into campus life, the event featured a special “Buddy Check-in Challenge.” Throughout the semester, exchange students and their local buddies will team up to complete 15 themed Tsinghua campus experience tasks. This creative initiative not only offers international students a deeper understanding of Tsinghua culture but also promotes meaningful cross-cultural exchange.
During a fun and relaxed icebreaking session, students got to know each other through engaging self-introductions. The lively “Charades” game that followed created bursts of laughter and excitement, helping participants build genuine connections.

The event concluded in a joyful atmosphere, with group photos taken in front of SEM’s iconic building to commemorate the occasion. It looks forward to seeing these exceptional students from around the world shine at Tsinghua SEM and co-create a new chapter in the university’s internationalization journey.
