UC Berkeley Exchange Feedback

During my exchange at UC Berkeley, I gained a wealth of valuable experiences, both academically and personally. The environment here offered me a fresh perspective on how to approach learning and life. Among all the courses I took, the one that left the deepest impression on me—and also became my favorite—was Data Structures. The professor emphasized interaction, encouraging students to express their thoughts through in-class discussions and questions. One of the most interesting assignments involved applying the data structures and algorithms we learned to design a small 2D game. This hands-on project allowed us to constantly test and refine our programming logic, and truly experience the integration of theory and practice.

Throughout this exchange, I deeply felt Berkeley's academic atmosphere and its spirit of openness and inclusiveness. Professors and teaching assistants were always willing to help and encouraged students to ask questions and share their thoughts on any topic. This motivated me to participate more actively in class discussions. My classmates came from all over the world, bringing diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Every group project and presentation became an opportunity to experience different viewpoints, which taught me the importance of multiculturalism and the value of respecting differences.

This exchange journey has been incredibly meaningful for me. It broadened my horizons in my field of study and greatly enhanced my cross-cultural communication skills. I believe these experiences will become a strong foundation for my future learning and personal growth.
