Generally, the exchange experience was wonderful! Comparing to Cornell Johnson MBA, Tsinghua SEM provided a totally different experience. Since the US and China have different cultures and educational systems, I was very glad to have this exchange experience at Tsinghua SEM. I learned a lot about business insights and knowledge at Tsinghua SEM, especially for the Chinese specific topics. For example, we learned the macroeconomic and financial system of China with many impressive examples. We also learned the Chinese government and society structure, and with such structure how China operates and deal with problems in the current world. That was a perfect complementary experience for students who studied at universities in other countries but was interested in business environment and development in China.
