自2021年起在清华大学经济管理学院领导力与组织管理系任教授(长聘)和Flextronics 讲席教授。曾在美国爱荷华大学商学院管理与创业系担任助理教授(2012-2017)、副教授(终身教职)(2017-2020)、教授(2020-2021)。

讲授课程

为本科生、MBA、博士生开授组织行为学、人力资源管理、领导力、组织管理研究设计、组织网络分析、基于数据驱动的组织管理等课程和专题讲座。在美国爱荷华大学工作期间,作为博士生论文指导教师,指导4名博士生,目前均在世界一流研究型大学商学院任教,包括香港大学、美国内布达斯加大学林肯分校、伊利诺伊大学芝加哥分校和香港中文大学。

研究领域

研究兴趣主要包括组织协作、团队网路和效能、个体和团队创新机制研究、领导力、大数据在组织管理中的应用以及中国管理概念研究。近年来的研究从跨学科融合的视角,结合数据科学(大数据、机器学习、人工智能)和人力资源管理及组织行为科学来研究员工、领导、团队及组织的行为模式和效能,重点对组织能力、跨部门协同、创新能力和知识员工效能等课题进行了深入研究。

在实践类期刊发表多篇管理实践论文,包括《哈佛商业评论》《清华管理评论》《中欧商业评论》。研究成果受到多家媒体的报导引用,包括:华尔街日报、哈佛商业评论、哈佛商业评论中文版、福布斯、英国广播公司、商业新闻日刊,雅虎,INC等。他多次应邀在国内外一流高校开展学术报告活动。在多家企业开展研究活动,为各类组织包括腾讯、蚂蚁金服、阿里云、飞利浦、好未来等提供基于大数据驱动的管理解决方案。通过结合组织管理理论和社会网络理论将企业中产生的海量行为数据转化为具有管理洞见的行为效能指标,采用定量分析方法挖掘员工、团队、领导、组织行为规律,进而优化组织管理实践、促进组织基于大数据驱动的组织管理决策。

2020年获得美国工业心理学会(SIOP)职业早期生涯杰出科学贡献奖。他目前担任国际管理类学术期刊Journal of Management 副主编和Management and Organization Review执行主编。还担任Journal of Applied PsychologyPersonnel Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior 编委。
