现为清华大学文科资深教授，校学术委员会副主任，经济管理学院教授。

现任国家自然科学基金委大数据重大研究计划指导专家组组长，教育部高等学校管理科学与工程类专业教学指导委员会主任，国家信息化专家咨询委员会成员，教育部新文科建设工作组成员。

曾任国际模糊系统学会（IFSA）副主席，CNAIS创始主席，国际管理商学院联盟（PIM）联执主席。曾多年担任清华大学经济管理学院常务副院长、学术委员会主任、讲席教授。担任/曾任中国信息经济学会等多个国内一级学会副理事长。曾主持国家自然科学基金委重大项目等多个国家级科研项目，以及多个国际合作项目、企业信息战略管理项目等。
